Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival at London Heathrow Airport
    You will be welcomed and joined by our executive upon your arrival at Heathrow airport. If you reach in the morning, go for a short sightseeing after a quick refreshment. If you arrive in the evening flight, just stay rest of the day at the hotel.

    Day 2: London Sight-seeing
    Trafalgar Square is famous for Nelson’s Column towering 52 meters into the air, guarded by four stone lions. You will be admired by statues like Fourth Plinth and the famous tree-lines street ‘The Mall’. During the Summer, you can admire the Queen’s home from the inside. Visit to Buckingham Palace also offers a view of ‘Changing Of The Guard’ which takes place at 10.40am daily during Summer. You will also get a chance to enter the Queen’s Gallery from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
    After visiting the Palace, you can make your way through St James’ Park to Churchill’s War Rooms where you will be able to learn more about the life and legacy of Winston Churchill.
    After visiting Churchill’s war Rooms, you can make your way to the Parliament Square as it is just a short way and visit the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. you will be able to book a 90 minute tour to see inside the 1000 year old Westminster Hall. Westminster Abbey is located next to the Houses of Parliament. Westminster Abbey is a gothic abbey church where the 17 monarchs and some notable historical figures like Isaac Newton rest. End your second day in London by cruising down the River Thames. A range of cruises are available.

    Day 3: London Sightseeing
    St Paul’s Cathedral was rebuilt in the Baroque style after the Great Fire of London in 1666. You will be able to take a good view of the Cathedral from the inside from 8.30am until 4.30pm.
    After the view of the Cathedral, you will be on your way to admire the 900 year old London Tower which is made up of 3 buildings including the Jewel House where the Crown Jewels are stored, the Royal Armories located in the White Tower, and the Bloody Tower: the prison where Anne Boleyn, Sir Walter Raleigh, the Two princes, Lady Jane Grey and Guy Fawkes were all imprisoned. The opening hours of the Tower of London is from 10am to 5.30pm costing £26.80 per adult.
    You will then be able to walk across the Tower Bridge and then admire the view from the banks of the River Thames below. You will also be able to visit the Tower Bridge Exhibition between 10 am to 5.30pm which costs £9.80 per adult. Hop on one of the pods at the London Eye which is England’s most popular paid attraction and the tallest wheel in Europe.

    Day 4: Cambridge Sightseeing
    After London sightseeing, you will be travelling to Cambridge which is a 2 hour journey. After breakfast, you will be strolling past Corpus Clock, one of the interesting things to see in Cambridge. This unusual timepiece gave the world the thermostat controlled electric kettle. After this you can head to the market square where you can pick up anything from street food to vinyl, CD’s to gardening items or a tacky souvenir to remember your Cambridge day trip.
    The 123 steps at the 800 year old Great St Mary’s Church Tower are well worth it for the unparalleled views over the city. The tower entry ticket costs £4 per person. After seeing the view from the church tower, you will head over to St John’s college which is one of the most photogenic in cambridge. You will be visiting the Bridge of Sighs, an elegant bridge which has become one of the most photographed sites in cambridge.
    In the afternoon, you will be visiting one of the wealthiest colleges in the country: Trinity College. The Chapel at this college is a beautiful building dating back to the 16th century. The library in the college contains 12th and 13th century manuscripts as well as Isaac Newton’s notebook.
    Punting along the backs is considered to be a wonderful outdoor activity in the UK. You will be floating past the backs of the colleges, under the Bridge of Sighs and past the geometrically pleasing, Mathematical Bridge.
    In the evening, you will be headed to the Evensong at King’s College. It is a 470 year old tradition and it lasts for 45 minutes. It includes sublime music from the choir and the world famous gilded pipework organ. You will be staying the night in Cambridge.

    Day 05: Oxford Sightseeing
    In the morning, you will be travelling to Oxford which takes approximately 2 hours. You will be able to get a flavour of what Oxford city has to offer on a day trip. There’s a great food scene, stunning architecture and lots of places to explore.
    The first thing to do in Oxford is to climb the University Church of St Mary the Virgin. You will be climbing the narrow, windy steps of the university which is a wonderful way to see the dreaming spires of Oxford. You will get a fascinating view of the iconic Radcliffe Camera and the city from the top. You will be able to see right into All Souls College, one of Oxford University’s most elusive colleges with only around 10 post graduates students each year.
    You will be able to walk around Radcliffe Square. It was built in the middle of the eighteenth century and has a neo-classical design. This sandy coloured stone is iconic of Oxford as most of the university’s buildings are this colour.
    The square surrounding it is paved with cobblestones, another typical feature of Oxford, though it’s rather uncomfortable to walk across!
    Less than a minute from the Radcliffe Camera is The Bridge of Sighs. This is a floating passage joining two parts of Hertford College and is named after the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. You will be pleased to take photographs of this bridge!
    Lastly, you can finish your 1 day Oxford trip by visiting the Bodleian Library, which is actually a group of libraries that are spread across the city. Or you can visit Oxford’s Harry Potter filming locations which consists of the Divinity School and Duke Humfrey’s Library. You will be staying the night in Oxford before travelling to Shakespeare’s Birthplace.

    Day 06: Stratford-upon-Avon: Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Warwick Castle and Cardiff (Wales)
    You will be travelling from Oxford to Warwick Castle which takes about an hour. It is a mediaeval castle which is home to the Princess Tower and dungeons that date back to the Middle Ages. Then you will be travelling to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Shakespeare's Birthplace is a restored 16th-century half-timbered house situated in Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England, where it is believed that William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and spent his childhood years.
    After a nice meal in the afternoon, you will be travelling to Cardiff by 4pm, Wales which will take about 2.5 hours. You will be able to go shopping in the evening and enjoy the beautiful nightlife of Cardiff.

    Day 07: Cardiff, Wales
    Cardiff is the capital and largest city in Wales, located about 150 miles from London. It is known for its castle, museums, shops, restaurants and nightlife.
    First and foremost, you will be able to explore Cardiff Castle which is a mediaeval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion located in the city centre of Cardiff, Wales.
    After exploring the castle you can wander the Cardiff Arcades. Shopping arcades in Cardiff include indoor shopping centres and arcades in Cardiff city centre, Wales. Cardiff is known as the "City of Arcades", due to the highest concentration of Victorian, Edwardian and contemporary indoor shopping arcades in any British city.
    Then you will be headed to visit the National Museum Cardiff which is a museum and art gallery. The museum is part of the wider network of Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales.
    And lastly you will be on your way to the Mermaid Quay. It is a stunning waterfront location in the heart of Cardiff Bay. It boasts more than 30 restaurants, cafes, bars and more. It offers cuisines from all around the world - from Welsh ice cream to Japanese Sushi, from stone-baked pizzas and pastas to the finest French cuisine. Plus there are shops like Tesco Express if you want to grab something less fancy. You will end the day at a hotel in Cardiff.

    Day 08 and 09: London local sightseeing, shopping and personal visits
    In the morning, you will be headed back to London from Cardiff and you will be able to enjoy shopping and local sightseeing. You can visit Europe’s biggest shopping centre: Westfield shopping centre in London.

    Day 10: Goodbye to London
    You will travel to the Airport in time and say goodbye to London, but we promise, you will do so with a heavy heart and with a promise to return back soon.
